Time management is a process by which individuals assess and allocate time to complete specific tasks. The use of sound time management is a personal process for individuals. The ability to effectively manage both personal and professional time can have a positive impact on a person's capacity to get things done. TAKING THIS COURSE
This course consists of 1 lesson and a final exam.
The lesson consists of a video and or other lesson materials. For the final exam, participants can take a maximum of 3 attempts to achieve a passing score of 70% or higher. Participants who achieve a passing score can print out a Walters, Inc. Category A BOC certificate of completion. Participants who do not pass the final exam after 3 attempts will need to re-pay for and repeat the entire course to attempt to earn credit.
When registering for this course, select any state. Age level does not apply, so just select any. Governing Body must be Walters, Inc. , Specialty must be Category A, and Student Role must be Athletic Trainer.

Students will first have to register as a student by filling out and submitting a completed Innovative CEUs, LLC (ICEU) student registration page .
All available WALTERS, INC. BOC Category A Courses will be displayed on the students Home Page (Click on the Home Button).
Any of the WALTERS, INC. Category A courses seen on students ICEU Home Page, can be added to their cart by clicking the Add to Cart button.
After selecting WALTERS INC. Category A courses students want to purchase, they can check out of shopping cart and put in a COUPON Code if they have one prior to check out.

After purchasing a course it will show on the Courses Not Started Page. (Top Navigation button - Courses Not Started).
To start any of these WALTERS INC. Category A courses, just click on the Click to Start link next to the course you want to start. Once a course has been started it will be moved to the Courses in Process.
On the Courses in Process ICEU Students Page, the students will start and complete the lesson (view lesson video) and then complete the Lesson Stage Exam.
Completion of Course Final Exam. Then the course will be posted to the Completed Courses page.
Students need to complete end End of Course Survey on the Completed Course Page.
End of Course Survey will need to be completed by all students who successfully complete each WALTERS, INC. course final exam for them to generate their WALTERS, INC. Category A BOC CEU Certificates. (Certificates are always available for completed courses on Completed Course Page).

About the Instructor
Rod Walters, DA, ATC
Dr. Rod Walters' love of athletic training was born at Terry Sanford HS in Fayetteville, where he began his work as a student athletic trainer beginning his sophomore year in high school. Walters has been active in the field of athletic training since his graduation from Appalachian State University in 1980, where he received his undergraduate and master's degrees. In 1988, Walters received his Doctor of Arts degree in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University. Walters was Head Athletic Trainer at Lenoir-Rhyne College (NC) for five years before joining the staff at Appalachian State. Following his work as Head Athletic Trainer at Appalachian State, Dr. Walters moved to the University of South Carolina, a member of the nation's top athletic league in the Southeastern Conference, to take a similar position in 1990. While at the University of South Carolina Dr. Walters was elevated to the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine where he oversaw the health care and wellness for the university?s athletes.
A member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Dr. Walters served on their Board of Directors from 1997 to 2003. He received the NATA's Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer in 2003 and was inducted into the NATA's Hall of Fame in 2005. He is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Since leaving his collegiate post, Walters has provided consultation to sports medicine staffs and the sports medicine industry with his casting and splinting seminars (3M). Since 2011, he has provided services to professional baseball with concussion management of professional baseball umpires, and began working with the National Football League as a concussion spotter with the Atlanta Falcons. Dr. Walters brings his expertise across the country with his athletic training seminars.
Dr. Walters' accomplishments include:
* Conducted casting and splinting workshops for 3M in hospitals, clinics, and athletic training rooms across the country
* Consultant to the inaugural NATA Appropriate Medical Coverage Task Force
* Published articles in publications including the Journal of Athletic Training, American Journal of Sports Medicine and the Physician and Sports medicine
* Author of the Southeastern Conference pre-participation medical and functional assessment screen of the conference?s football officials
* Developer of several orthopaedic appliances including off-the-shelf braces for the elbow, and Donjoy's Velocity, an ankle-foot orthosis for the troublesome "high ankle sprain."
* Featured speaker at athletic training and sports medicine clinics both nationally and internationally
